Northern Lincolnshire Rural Local Action Group and LEADER Programme

Giving rural Northern Lincolnshire a voice.

WELCOME to the Northern Lincolnshire Rural Local Action Group and LEADER website.

The Local Action Group (LAG) aims to influence and shape rural development across North and North East Lincolnshire. To do this, the Local Action Group is responsible for coordinating the LEADER programme of funding.

Essentially the group is about getting things done alongside rural communities and organisations. By distributing LEADER funding to local groups we aim to develop town and village facilities, increase the basic services available to rural communities and increase the number of people accessing attractions and venues within Northern Lincolnshire.

So whether you want to learn more about the work of the Local Action Group, think that you have a project that might qualify for LEADER funding or simply want to see some of the projects the LAG has already been able to support, please feel free to look around our website or contact a member of the LEADER team.

Additional money offered to our Rural Communities!

The LEADER Programme is now in its fourth year of operation and has seen over £1.3million spent across North and North East Lincolnshire helping deliver projects which otherwise may not have gone ahead.

Due to the continued success of the programme in the area, the Northern Lincolnshire Local Action Group has been offeerd an additional £201,000.00 of grant funding for rural community groups and will be available until December 2013.

The Local Action Group is particularly keen to receive expressions of interest for the delivery of heritage and conservation projects over the next year and would encourage anyone with a heritage project idea to contact the LEADER Team for more information.

For details on how to apply please visit the How to Apply section.
